The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) one of the world’s most revered museums, housing incredible continuous collections and masterly seasonal exhibitions. In operation since 1861, the NGV is home to some 75,000 works, covering themes from gender to conservation, the environment and Indigenous art.

  Melbourne is renowned for its charming, narrow laneways, where edgy street art towers over elegant bars, cafes and restaurants. Taking the time to meander down the likes of Degraves Street, Bank Place and Hosier Lane, famed for its vibrant street art. After walking these beautiful little passages, be sure to stop at one of their venues, enjoy a coffee, beer or wine, and watch the people go by in this most magical town.

  The NGV is conveniently located next to the Melbourne Arts Centre, home to the spectacular Hamer Hall.
