Bellarine Peninsula Food and Wine Tour Itinerary
Spend the day making your way across the Bellarine Peninsula while discovering premium vineyards and other local delicacies. Our return tour from Melbourne is complete with spectacular ocean views and a wide range of gourmet delights.
We will begin the tour with a stop at the Geelong Waterfront. There is no better way to start the day than to listen to the sound of waves while breathing in fresh sea air. During a relaxing morning stroll, you will be able to see some of the waterfront’s highlights such as the historic sea baths and the sculptures lining the esplanade.
Continuing along the peninsula, we will visit Scotchmans Hill Vineyard where you will spend time wine tasting in the old provincial barn house. As you sample top-end wine, you will see the sprawling estate of the vineyard with the sparkling blue sea just beyond it. The next stop will be at Jack Rabbit Vineyard. We will spend time here enjoying lunch like a local from the Jack Rabbit Café. You will also get to sample luxury wines surrounded by breathtaking ocean views.
Making our way towards the tip of the peninsula, we will visit Queenscliff Brewhouse. This location is set in the Grand Old Hotel and offers a wide range of tasting options. From local craft beer or wine to gin produced in-house, you will get to experience a taste of the region.
The tour will conclude with a visit to Flying Brick Cider House. This charming cidery has a large lawn allowing for a peaceful atmosphere while sampling a paddle of ciders. In addition to cider, you can also try regional craft beer, wine or fair-trade coffee if you need a little afternoon energy boost.
After a day of sampling exquisite food and wine from the Bellarine Peninsula, you are sure to have discovered some new favourites!
